§ 1 Scope and contracting party
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services provided to consumers and businesses by Andre Kapp, trading under the brand Tabiji (hereinafter “Tabiji”), Eynattener Straße 2, 52064 Aachen, Germany, email: hallo@tabiji.de.
Deviating terms of the customer do not apply unless Tabiji has expressly agreed to them in writing.
§ 2 Subject matter of the services
Tabiji offers personal travel consulting and structured preparation for trips to Japan. The offer includes in particular:
- Individual consultation – personally tailored one-to-one consulting via video call (MS Teams or Cisco Webex) or in person in the Aachen area (up to 10 km), in the Basic, Standard and Premium packages.
- Group courses on trip preparation (Compact 2h, Intensive 6 × 2h) via online video call and as individually bookable private courses.
- Add-on services – itinerary check, short consultation, extra consulting hour, travel support via WhatsApp and gift vouchers, on their own or in addition to a consulting package.
Tabiji is not a travel agency and does not arrange flights, hotels or package holidays. Booking or reserving third-party travel services is not part of the scope of services.
The exact scope of services is set out in the respective service description on the website (www.tabiji.de) and in the written booking confirmation.
§ 3 Booking and conclusion of contract
An enquiry via the contact form on the website or by email does not constitute a binding offer or the conclusion of a contract.
A contract is only concluded once Tabiji has confirmed the booking in writing by email and the customer has paid in full (see § 5).
Tabiji reserves the right to decline booking requests without giving reasons.
§ 4 Prices
The prices published on the website at the time of the booking confirmation apply. All prices are final prices in euros (€) including any applicable VAT.
The current introductory prices apply to bookings until 31 March 2027. After that, the regular prices shown on the website apply.
Prices for individual consulting apply per family or travel group of up to 4 people and for a trip length of up to 4 weeks. For each additional person and each additional week of travel (or part thereof), the package price increases by 20 % in each case.
§ 5 Payment
- Payment is made before the appointment by bank transfer or as individually agreed.
- Payment details are sent by email after the booking has been confirmed.
- The appointment is only considered firmly reserved once payment has been received in full.
§ 6 Rescheduling
- Rescheduling to another date is free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed appointment.
- Rescheduling requests must be sent by email to hallo@tabiji.de.
- Rescheduling at shorter notice is possible by arrangement and may be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
§ 7 Cancellation by the customer
- For cancellations more than 24 hours before the appointment: full refund of the amount paid.
- For cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment: Tabiji reserves the right to retain 50 % of the price.
- In the event of a no-show without prior cancellation: the full price may be charged.
- Cancellations must be made in writing by email to hallo@tabiji.de. The time at which Tabiji receives the email is decisive.
The statutory right of withdrawal remains unaffected by these provisions (see § 10).
§ 8 Cancellation by Tabiji
If Tabiji has to cancel a confirmed appointment (e.g. due to illness or force majeure), the customer will be offered a replacement date as soon as possible or the full amount paid will be refunded within 14 days. No further claims exist.
§ 9 Special provisions for group courses
- Group courses only take place if the respective minimum number of participants is reached (Compact: 4 participants, Intensive: 6 participants).
- The maximum number of participants is 12 for the Compact course and 10 for the Intensive course.
- If the minimum number of participants is not reached, a replacement date will be proposed or any amounts already paid will be refunded in full.
- There is no entitlement to a particular course date until it has been confirmed in writing by Tabiji.
§ 10 Information on the right of withdrawal
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us
Andre Kapp (Tabiji)
Eynattener Straße 2
52064 Aachen
Email: hallo@tabiji.de
of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement, for example a message sent by email.
You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount proportionate to what has been provided until you informed us of your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.
Expiry of the right of withdrawal
In the case of a contract for the provision of services, the right of withdrawal also expires if Tabiji has fully performed the service and only began performing it after you, as a consumer, expressly consented to Tabiji beginning the service before the end of the withdrawal period and at the same time acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once Tabiji has fully performed the contract.
If, at the customer's request, the service is to begin before the end of the withdrawal period, Tabiji obtains the customer's express consent before starting the service. In doing so, the customer also confirms their awareness that their right of withdrawal expires once Tabiji has fully performed the contract.
§ 11 Model withdrawal form
If you wish to withdraw from the contract, please complete and return this form.

- the availability of particular sights, accommodation or offers at the time of travel,

§ 16 Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. For consumers, this applies only insofar as it does not conflict with mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the consumer has their habitual residence.
The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these GTC and contracts with businesses is Aachen, provided the business has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany or moves its registered office abroad after the contract is concluded. For consumers, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
